Terms of Service

These terms apply when you order a video from Ddakcut, a brand of Hotdeal Alliance (핫딜연합), South Korea. By paying the deposit, you agree to them. If your written quote says something different, the quote applies.

1. Quotes and payment

• Package prices are listed on our pricing section. Anything outside a package gets a written quote first.
• We invoice in US dollars (USD) through PayPal or Payoneer.
• The script and storyboard are free. Production starts after you approve them and we receive a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due before we send the final files.

2. Script and storyboard

Every project starts with a script and storyboard, free of charge. You pay nothing until you approve it, and if you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing. You can ask for changes until you approve it. Your approval is the starting point for production, delivery times and revisions.

3. Revisions

• Basic and Standard include 2 rounds of revisions. Premium includes 3.
• A round is one set of changes sent together, within the approved script and storyboard. For example: text and subtitles, music, cut order, timing, voice-over lines, or regenerating shots that don't match the storyboard.
• Changing the concept, story, script or style after approval is a new order and is quoted separately.
• Extra rounds are quoted before we do them. Mistakes on our side are fixed at no charge.

4. Delivery

• Basic is delivered in 3 days, Standard in 4 days and Premium in 6 days, counted from your approval of the script and storyboard.
• If we are waiting on your files, feedback or payment, the schedule pauses and restarts when we hear from you.
• Final files are 16:9 and 9:16 video files at full quality, plus the source files: the AI-generated clips we used in the edit. We send them by email or download link.

5. Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel after paying but before production starts, we refund your payment in full. Production starts when we begin generating the footage.
• After production starts, payments are not refundable, because the video is made for you.

6. Rights and commercial use

• Once you have paid in full, you may use the final video for commercial purposes, including ads, websites and social media, worldwide and with no time limit.
• Agencies may deliver the video to their own clients under their own brand.
• Music and voices come from services licensed for commercial use in the delivered video. Using them outside the video may need a separate license.
• We may show the finished video in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

7. Use of AI

• Footage, images, voices and music may be made with AI tools, then edited by people. We tell you which parts are AI-generated if you ask.
• In some countries, AI-generated material has limited copyright protection, so we can't promise exclusive rights to every generated element.
• Some AI tools add a label or watermark that identifies content as AI-generated, and some laws require one. We don't remove these.
• You are responsible for labeling the video as AI-generated where a platform or law requires it.

8. Your materials

When you send us photos, logos, footage, music, product information or a person's likeness, you confirm that you have the right to let us use them for your video. We use them only for your project and our portfolio as described above.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for sales results, ad performance or platform decisions. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay the deposit applies to your project. Questions: hello@ddakcut.com.
